Gerindra: Tak Ada Lawan Jokowi yang Setangguh Pak Prabowo
JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com - Wakil Ketua Umum Partai Gerindra Sufmi Dasco Ahmad menegaskan partainya akan tetap mengusung Prabowo sebagai calon presiden di Pilpres 2019. Gerindra konsisten dengan sikapnya, meskipun partai oposisi lain seperti PKS dan PAN sudah menawarkan Anies Baswedan sebagai opsi untuk diusung sebagai capres. "Partai Gerindra tetap 100 persen mendukung Prabowo untuk menjad Capres 2019. Menurut saya, tidak ada peluang untuk menggeser dukungan tersebut pada Anies Baswedan," kata Dasco dalam keterangan tertulisnya, Sabtu (7/7/2018).
Gerindra untuk konsisten mendukung Prabowo. Pertama, dukungan tersebut merupakan mandat resmi dari seluruh kader Gerindra semua tingkatan yang disampaikan pada Rapimnas bulan April lalu. Kedua, saat ini penantang Jokowi yang terkuat adalah Prabowo. "Hasil Pilkada Jateng dan Jabar di mana suara paslon yang didukung Gerindra meroket adalah gambaran betapa besarnya dukungan masyarakat pada Pak Prabowo, sehingga secara realistis tidak ada lawan lain yang setangguh Pak Prabowo," kata Dasco.
Mengenai berita di media massa yang menyebutkan Prabowo bersedia mendukung Anies, Dasco menilai hal tersebut hanya bentuk kerendah-hatian mantan Danjen Kopassus tersebut. "Intinya beliau ingin adanya perbaikan di negeri ini," tambah Dasco. Ketua DPP Partai Keadilan Sejahtera (PKS) Mardani Ali Sera sebelumnya mengatakan, nama Gubernur DKI Jakarta Anies Baswedan bisa menjadi sosok kuat sebagai penantang Presiden Joko Widodo pada Pemilihan Presiden (Pilpres) 2019. Kata Mardani, PKS bersama Partai Amanat Nasional (PAN) menawarkan opsi tersebut kepada Partai Gerindra.
"PKS dan PAN kian dekat kemudian menuju satu kesimpulan bahwa bersama dengan Gerindra kita menghasilkan figur yang menjadi penantang kuat Pak Jokowi," ujar Mardani ketika dihubungi, Jumat (6/7/2018). "Di antara figur itu ada Mas Anies Baswedan, tetapi tentu Gerindra, kan, juga ada Pak Prabowo," tambah dia. Mardani mengatakan, opsi apapun masih terbuka dalam koalisi Partai Gerindra, PKS, dan PAN.
